Rule 43A
To Be Operated On Lease
(1) Notwithstanding anything contained in these Rules, Department may lease out the responsibility of maintenance and operation as whole or in part, on the basis of competition, to a person,
Users’ Association or Non-Governmental Organization of the Canal, Branch or Secondary Canal, Minor or Tertiary Canal, Water course under the system operated by Government of Nepal or conducted under the joint Management system.
(2) The notice of at least Thirty Five days shall be published in the national daily newspaper for the lease pursuant to Sub rule (1) and other procedure shall be as mentioned in the Directives.
